Recent Public Pics
Compare this picture to the one taken just one month ago located right in this folder. There is still an ice bridge, but it is too risky to cross. The tongue of open water is about a quarter mile from the tree line in this picture.
At Moon Bay right near the county road where a new culvert was put in last summer, 2009.
Found on North side of the island.
There is a FEN near my home that has little islands in it. On those islands grow huckleberry bushes.

Two pictures combined. See the tree line near Point Nipigon curving out toward the island. See open water on the right neat Pointe Aux Pins. Remember to click on the picture.
Some artistic techniques applied. How beautiful to fish on a lake that is totally vacant of other fisherman. Picture taken Feb 24, 2010.
Halfway across the Ice Bridge
This was in a magazine article about the island called "The Other BobLo". This is scanned from 22 year old newsprint paper, so the quality is not too good. I think it is a good picture of Glenn though.

Love it when it is wet and everything seems so green....
Stumbled upon this buck on a partnered stalk/still hunt on the second day of season. It was a long shot, and I found him the next day. My friend Forrest also took an 8 point seconds before I shot this one, standing 50 yards from my buck. Both bucks were pursuing a doe we had jumped 5 minutes before.

The bridge is just to the left.
I went to see if I could locate my little pond monster, but found this, and another orchid, instead. This is the only orchid in Michigan where the tongue is on top. All the others rotate around so the tongue ends up on the bottom.
I talked with Dad many times about scanning and posting some of the old BBI items he'd collected over the years. Now as I sort through his stuff, I will share them with you as I find them. I hope you all enjoy them.

Can anybody recommend a good weather box? I tried weather.com and it loads way too slow if it loads at all.
